This policy explains how GetaBooking Ltd (company no. 16688677, “we”), the data controller for urlcreateqrcode.com, collects and uses your personal data. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Email address — to sign you in (passwordless) and to send one-time verification codes and receipts.
• Purchase and credit records — packs bought, credits used, and download history (kept for 60 days).
• The URLs and logos you submit — to generate your QR codes.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
• Technical data — basic request/log data and, if you consent, analytics.

Why, and our legal basis

• To provide the Service (sign-in, generating and storing downloads) — performance of a contract.
• To take payment — performance of a contract / legal obligation (tax records).
• To improve the Service with analytics — consent (via the cookie banner).
• Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests.

Processors we use

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Postmark — sending verification and receipt emails.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, storage and databases (eu-west-2, London).
• Cloudflare — content delivery and security.

Retention

Verification codes expire within minutes. Generated downloads are deleted after 60 days. Account and purchase records are kept as long as your account is active and as required for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact [email protected]. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
